What is the application process for a multi-state applicant?
Each state participating in the multi-state application should submit a letter from the state’s Governor or equivalent (ex. Mayor of D.C.) that designates the state agency or state designated entity (SDE) of the lead state as the chosen applicant on their behalf. One Letter of Intent should be submitted on behalf of all states or territories participating in the multi-state application. Each state does not have need to submit a letter of intent. The application should include information on each participating state or territory. For example, when discussing gaps in the Project Narrative of the application, the state-specific gaps should be clearly outlined. For Strategic and Operational Plans, each participating state or territory should complete their own Strategic Plan. Operational Plans can be collective. B14.
