What is the application deadline?
Visit the page http://graduate.ua.edu/application/appdeadlines.html for chart of application deadlines. Applications should be submitted as early as possible to allow for review. Many departments have early deadlines, and all materials should be submitted at least 6 weeks in advance of department deadlines. Please contact the office of the department or program in which you plan to major for specific application deadlines.
The application deadline for Fall 2010 admission is November 30, 2009. Letters of recommendation should be submitted or postmarked no later than application deadline, and transcripts should be uploaded no later than December 1, 2009. Applicants should take the general test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and, if applicable, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) no later than October 24, 2009 so that we receive the scores by the end of November 2009.
Erikson makes admissions decisions on a rolling basis. The priority application deadline is February 1 for the Ph.D. program, March 1 for the dual degree and teacher certification programs, and April 1 for master’s programs. However, we will continue to accept applications after the priority deadline as long as space is available in the entering class.
