What is the Apex Medical Alarm?
Apex Medical Alarms provide peace of mind and safety for your loved ones. Just a simple push of a button, and an Apex operator will summon the assistance as needed, whether it be an ambulance or family member. The wrist transmitter is manufactured by Visonic, a world leader in wireless technology. The unit is water resistant to a depth of one metre and is suitable for use in extremely harsh environments as it is constructed from a high impact plastic. Each transmitter contains a lithium battery with a 10 year life expectancy and is also available in a “necklace” version. The Medical alarm connects to an existing telephone line within the subscriber’s premises and dials to the Apex U.L.C. Monitoring Centre. We would then attempt to contact the subscriber and if we are not successful, we may dispatch the local ambulance or contact a friend or family member.
