What is the annual Christmas tree recycling program?
The Christmas Tree Recycling program traditionally runs each year from late-December through early January. In 2009, the depot-based program is changing to include residential pick up over two weekends in January. Trees collected by the program are mulched and used in City green spaces, the Calgary Zoo, and will be made available to citizens at a later date for garden/yard use.
