What is the Anderson Ranch Public Events Program?
The Ranch offers an active public events program, offering high quality presentations on visual arts in all of its subject areas. Each year, more than 75 events are scheduled, most free and open to the public in Schermer Meeting Hall (seating capacity: 200). Recent presenters have included George Condo, Chris Doyle, Judy Pfaff, Beth Lipman, Maya Lin, Eric Fischel, Julie Mehretu, Jane Hammond, Enrique Martinez Ceyala and many others. Visual art exhibitions are offered year-round in the Patton-Malott Galleries, featuring the work of Ranch artists and those who live and work in the Roaring Fork Valley. In addition, the Ranch offers studio tours, summer auctionettes, and other public activities. The Ranch also jointly programs its facilities with other area non-profits including the Aspen Music Festival and School, Aspen Writers Foundation, Aspen Film Fest, Challenge Aspen and Aspen Art Museum. All events are posted on the Anderson Ranch online events calendar at www.andersonranch.org/even
