A. Eclipse has about a 3% volumetric shrinkage while conventional acrylics and Lucitone 199 are about 7%. This is why Eclipse is able to deliver on the claim, fit at try-in equals fit at delivery. Shrinkage is similar to Triad, and less than heat-cured acrylics. Shrinkage of the individual Eclipse Resins comprising the devices approximately 50-70% less (Baseplate = 50% and Contour = 70%) than that of heat-cured acrylic and on par with Triad Denture base. Q.
