What is the American Express Membership Rewards Program about?
The Membership Rewards Program gives you the opportunity to earn points which are redeemable for travel, hotel stays, shopping, home and recreation items. It can also be linked with a personal American Express card for combined rewards. You can choose from either of the Membership Rewards options Choices or Ascent. Whichever one you choose youll earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on your card and your points will not expire as long as your account is current. Choices puts more rewards within reach including accommodation, shopping and travel vouchers. As well there is our extensive range of merchandise. (an annual fee of $55 applies).* Ascent offers all the benefits of Choices plus the ability to transfer points to six frequent flyer programs including Qantas, Air New Zealand, Malaysia Airlines, Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific.
