What is the American College of Healthcare Executives Fellow (FACHE) Credential?
In this, my first post on the FACHE, I’ll be providing an overview of the designation, its value, why I’m pursuing it, and my plan of attack. First, let’s answer, “What is the FACHE?” The American College of Healthcare Executives Fellow (FACHE) credential is the mother of all healthcare industry designations for those who are not clinicians. If you’re in the healthcare industry and you aren’t a physician or nurse of some sort, the FACHE should be your ultimate objective if you want to continue developing your skill set and progressing up the management ladder. This designation is typically the territory of anyone who is a vice president or above in the healthcare industry. In order to achieve the FACHE, you have to do several things.
