What is The ALSF Leadership Academy going to be like?
The ALSF Leadership Academy will include hands on activities, some classroom sessions and workshops designed to create awareness on what leadership is, how to use it and how it can help students reach their goals. Students will gather from all over for this opportunity. There will be a total of approximately sixty high school juniors and seniors admitted into the program. It will be a great opportunity to build new friendships. Many students may already be leaders and use the program to improve their leadership skills. Others may come without a formalized leadership role and leave with many ideas on how to get involved more in their schools and communities. The program is facilitated by Learning to Lead, a national nonprofit organization with years of experience in running leadership programs for students.
