What is the alert notification system?
In addition to the sensor monitoring graphs, reports and custom grapher, Layne Data offers a comprehensive e-mail notification system to keep you up to date on the status of your system. Layne Data can send alerts via e-mail, a text message to a cell phone, or text message to a pager. The following are examples of what might trigger an alert to be sent to you: • If any sensor that is being monitored by Layne Data is out of acceptable ranges or in the “red”, Layne Data will send a system alert notification. Sensor levels can be set or modified individually by users through simply logging into their account. • The Layne Data system can also be set up to send an alert if the system stops collecting or sending data to our central database. Alert notifications can be sent to 1 person or 100 people. To add or delete persons authorized to receive notifications users simply log into their Layne Data account and update their information.
