What is the Alaskan Malamute Sanctuary?
An entirely new organization, the Alaskan Malamute Sanctuary is a national effort that is separate from AMCA and from rescue. It is incorporated in New Mexico. The Sanctuary will provide a facility to owners, breeders and rescue for dogs who are too old, traumatized or physically handicapped to find a new home. One of the primary goals of the Sanctuary is to ensure that these dogs shall never be alone, hungry, or without shelter or medical care.
