The Gambia CAA announced that an Airport Development Fee of €20 (or equivalent) per person (excluding infants) is to be paid locally for all departures after 1st November 2010. Currently this is not included in the flight or holiday price; a cash payment is made directly by the traveller to airport authorities on departure at Banjul Airport. However from 1st November 2011 this fee will be included in the ticket price.
