• For travel within India, an expectant mother is permitted to travel till the end of 36th week without a medical certificate provided there are no prior medical complications. From the 37th week till the end of 38th week a medical certificate from the treating doctor (qualified obstetrician) is required. This certificate must be issued within seven days before commencement of travel. The Guest has to be accompanied by a doctor with a minimum MBBS qualification. After 38 weeks, expectant mothers are not permitted to fly.
