What is the aim of the Partners for Development Program?
• The Partners for Development Program aims to support the initiative, innovation, and expertise of Canadians working in international development. It will fund the best partners and aid projects based on a fair, transparent, and competitive selection process. • • The Partners in Development Program will be divided into five catagories: • • Projects between $100,000 and $2 million (up to $30 million annually) • Projects over $2 million (up to $95 million annually) • Knowledge partners (up to $20 million annually) • Volunteer cooperation (up to $50 million annually) • University partners (up to $25 million annually) • The Partners for Development Program will concentrate half of its funding in CIDA’s 20 countries of focus.
