The main aim of Numeracy 2 is to give children, between the ages of 8 and 11, confidence in maths and a love of the subject. We aim for the children to have intermediate understanding of the following: • Counting and Understanding Number • Knowing and Using number Facts • Calculating • Using and Applying Maths • Understanding Shape • Measures • Data Handling During these sessions you may want your child’s learning tailored – we will discuss these goals during our assessment appointment.
