What is the AIDS Drug Assistance Program?

0

The SC AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) provides treatment access to HIV infected persons across the state. SC ADAP is comprised of two programs. The Direct Dispensing Program (DDP – formerly known as Central Pharmacy) provides life saving medications to eligible individuals through a third-party mail order pharmacy (CVS/Caremark). The Insurance Assistance Program (IAP) reimburses insurance premiums, copays and deductibles to eligible individuals with adequate coverage, through a network of statewide pharmacies. You can find more information about SC ADAP at this link.
