What is the Aging and Disability Resource Center?
The Aging and Disability Resource Center is a single entry point for information and assistance on issues affecting older people, people with disabilities, or their families. This center is a welcoming and convenient place to get information, advice, and access to a wide variety of services. As a clearinghouse of information about long-term care they will also be available to physicians, or other professionals who work with older people or people with disabilities. Services are being provided through the use of the telephone or in visits to an individual’s home.
The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is not a place; it’s a resource that gathers together all the information and services an older adult may need. It simplifies the process of understanding what your needs are and makes sure your needs are addressed quickly. At no charge, you can find information about services you may need and get connected to people and organizations that provide those services. The Aging and Disability Resource Center, managed by the Senior Resource Alliance, provides information and access to services for older adults, their caregivers, and adults over age 18 with mental health needs.
