The answer that the first answerer gave is the age of the earth, but rocks as old as the earth have NOT been found because they have already been completely consumed by the rock cycle. I should also warn you that this piece of information is not going to help you deterimine earth’s speed from the galactic core. This is a problem involving celestial dynamics, and knowledge of the age and movement of the solar system with respect to the milky way is required to solve the problem… the ages of rocks on earth have nothing to do with the problem whatsoever.
