What is the Advising Worksheet and how do I read it?
The Advising Worksheet is a tool used to help students keep track of their graduation requirements. In order to find the Advising Worksheet, you need to log into the my.msmc.edu homepage and follow the link to the Web Module. Click on the Academics tab. Click on the VIEW ALL DETAILS link in the DEGREE AUDIT PORTLET. When this page opens, click on ADVISING WORKSHEET. The Advising Worksheet shows the classes that have been taken and under which category the classes fall. Core Requirements for UNDERGRADUATE students are displayed first, followed by the student’s major(s), minor(s), education certification, and free electives. All classes and categories with a bullet (•) in front of them mean that the category/class has not been taken and is needed for graduation. All classes with an “IP” preceding them mean that the class is in progress for either the current semester or for the upcoming one. If you have any additional questions, please call 845-569-3237.
