What is the advantage of WIPL-D software over codes based on triangle patch modeling?
WIPL-D software is based on quadrilateral patch modeling. When rooftop basis functions are used, the quadrilateral modeling is two times more efficient than triangular modeling. In addition, WIPL-D Pro combines quadrilateral modeling with higher order basis functions, thus requiring an order of magnitude less number of unknowns than classical triangular modeling.
