What is the advantage of using our Indexable Toolpost instead of a Quick Change Toolpost?

With our three toolbits and boring bar hole, you have three major toolbits at hand. Loosen handle and rotate block for facing bit, face off, then rotate turning bit into position and reduce diameter to required amount. Rotate one more time and do external threading. If part requires boring then set tool block with turning bit, facing bit, and then rotate boring bar into position. You do not have to loosen handle remove turning holder and replace with facing holder (or boring bar holder and continue. You have 4 possible fixed positions and all you do is rotate. Also, all our toolposts are machined to put the top of a 3/8″ high speed toolbit on lathe center. All you have to do is measure tool bit (if carbide or indexable) and insert shim requirements (supplied with toolpost) and keep going.
