What is The Advantage of Using a Pen?
Mouse- A normal mouse is moved with what is scientifically known as coarse or proximal movement. These movements are made from the shoulder or the elbow. A characteristic of these movements is that they are not terribly precise. In order to be able work accurately, the muscles are tensed, so that the arm can be held rigid to control the mouse. This constant muscle tension frequently causes injuries such as RSI Pen- The same type of movements can be made with a pen. An advantage of pen is, however, that the hand has a more neutral posture. With a mouse, the hand must be rotated at the wrist, whereas this does not happen with a pen, thus preventing extra tension on the muscles and tendons in the forearm. If only coarse or proximal movement were possible with a pen, then many people would develop complaints like RSI by using a pen.
