What is the advantage of the BBD versus other air cushions?
We have been told that our cushions are more durable and easier to check inflation because the bottom of the BBD cushion is soft rubber, not more rigid as other cushion bottoms. And, the BBD is made specifically to help prevent pressure sores. The BBD expands around the hindquarters and thighs, placing much of the support force on the more meaty areas of the buttocks than on the tailbone or ischeals.
