What is the advantage of modular over stick-built?
A modular home is built in a controlled environment. Weather is not a factor during construction. (The weather is always perfect for building at Pittsville Homes). Also, because there is less onsite time of the home from start to completion, there is less chance of theft of materials on the jobsite. The walls, floors and roofs are constructed on jigs to make sure that they are all constructed square and that they will all fit together. It is amazing how a modular home manufacturer can build a two story home (four sections) and have them assembled on site and all the doorways, center openings and exteror walls match up perfectly.
