What is the advantage of leaving a bid now instead of waiting for auction day?
It is to your advantage to have a bid in as early as possible. Because of the Hybrid method of being both an auction and a regularly listed property, The highest bid of record will be given an opportunity to match or beat any submitted offer to purchase the home that is made before auction day, June 28. If a qualified traditional offer to purchase is made thru the MLS or other realty or agent, the highest bidder will be given a 72 hour opportunity to also submit an offer. If you wait to auction day you will not have this opportunity to make an offer and the home would be sold.
