Digital images are stored on CD-Rom (similar to those little round things AOL keeps sending out to everyone). This offers long term storage of your precious memories or important photos with out worry of bending, humidity, dust and father time. Digital images can be used for many, many applications. The ability to access the digital images on your computer is a lot faster than searching the old shoeboxes for the right set of negatives – only to wait developing time to find out they were scratched.
