What is the advantage if I hand back my old inoperable car for dismantling and recycling?
The disposal of end-of-life vehicles to NORD AUTORECYCLING is a guarantee that they will be treated in an environmentally friendly manner. Unlike the current practice for the collection of motor vehicles only for the purpose of removing the metal components, the Organization has a sufficient financial resource to recycle not only the metals but also plastics, glass, tires, lead-acid batteries and the other reusable materials and to render safe the unusable remainders. NORD AUTORECYCLING shall perform these activities without being forced to charge extra costs to the current prices at which the end-of-life motor vehicles are being purchased back from the consumers, as the financial means are provided by the motor vehicle importers on a “manufacturer’s liability” basis.
