What is the Advancement Office?
The Advancement Office coordinates the fundraising and public relations efforts of Archbishop Mitty High School. Working with the Board of Regents and the Principal, the Advancement Office develops short and long-term plans which assure the financial stability of the school and provide a constant flow of funding to support the annual operating cost of each student’s education as well as income for special projects to augment and enrich academic programs and school facilities. Fundraising events organized by the Advancement Office include the Black and Gold Gala, the Mitty Auction, and the Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament. Volunteers are an integral part of the work of the Advancement Office and are involved in many programs and events. Additionally, the Advancement Office orchestrates several donor and volunteer recognition events, including the Monarch Leadership Society Dinner, The Principal’s Circle Dinner, and the Brother Fien Volunteer Recognition Dinner.
