What is the Adoption JobSite?
The Adoption JobSite is a free, national job matching service for law and graduate social work students interested in child welfare and adoption law and policy. It is operated by The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy at Capital University Law School. The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy, through the JobSite, seeks to provide students an opportunity to work in these fields with hopes that some will choose to pursue full time employment in these areas in the public, private or non-profit sector upon graduation. In addition, The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy hopes that other students who are exposed to this work over the course of a law school summer will decide to work on behalf of children needing permanent homes as part of their future pro bono activity. And of course, the JobSite allows those working in child welfare and adoption organizations to share their expertise and have the benefit of committed law and social work students help them catch up on back
