What is the actual procedure for making an investment in the Trust Deeds you offer?
First, we answer all your questions regarding investing in Trust Deeds. Next, if you decide you would like to invest, we go over your investment criteria. For example, do you have a preference for a type of property (residential, commercial, land)? How much are you interested in investing? Would you prefer to own 100% of a Trust Deed, or do you wish to spread your investment among several loans by investing in a fractional interest? Next, we send you our weekly Trust Deed Investment Opportunities “hot sheet”. If you see a loan that interests you, we will send you the Loan Overview, and any additional borrower information you’d like to see. Once you have chosen to invest in a specific loan, we will send you instructions for wiring your funds into escrow or title. Within a week after you fund your portion of the loan, you will your “Lender Package” from us, which includes copies of the loan documents and a letter confirming the date you can expect to start receiving payments. First, Paul will meet with you to answer all your questions regarding investing in trust deeds. Next, if you decide you would like to be involved owning trust deeds, you will let us know your investment budget. Then, Paul will contact you with specific trust deed investment opportunities. After your approval, PLN will send to you the appropriate loan information and the instructions for wiring your investment funds into escrow or title. Within a week after you fund your portion of the loan, you will receive a “Green Package” from us which includes copies of the loan documents and a letter from us again confirming the date you can expect to start receiving payments.
