What is the Active standby?
Your Nokia device has a standby display, which provides you an easy access to your most frequently used applications across the top of the screen, and calendar, to-do items, and player events listed below. You can access the standby display when your device is in Fold open mode or Imaging mode. • To switch the active standby on or off, press the menu key, select Tools > Settings > Phone > Standby mode > Active standby, and press the center scroll key. • To start an application or event, scroll to an application or event, and press the center scroll key. Note: The standard scroll key shortcuts available in the standby mode cannot be used when the active standby mode is on. • You can define your own favorite applications to the standby display.
