What is the ACE-AFSCSME Local 2250, AFL-CIO Scholarship Program?
We are pleased to announce the establishment of a Scholarship Program available to children of active ACE-AFSCME Local 2250 members. Under this program, one (1) $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded annually to the winner selected from the applicants who meet the eligibility requirements. Once awarded, the scholarship will be renewed for $1,000.00 each year for a maximum of four years, provided the student remains enrolled in a full-time course of study. A group of distinguished Prince George’s County citizens forms the Scholarship Selection Committee. This independent committee has the task of choosing the scholarship recipient.
