What is the accuracy of the echo and C-Pal tracking unit?
The accuracy of the C-Pal and echo depends on the number of satellites that they acquires for a position fix. The minimum number of satellites for a fix is 3, the more satellites that can confirm a position the more accurate the reported position. Typically GPS accuracy will be anywhere between 5 Meters and 1 Meter. The C-Pal is a more accurate product and will typically be able to track the person even if they are inside a building. It is supplied with a high gain antenna and electronics ensuring that the user is tracked accurately at all times.
