Punjab Technical University is amongst a very few Universities in India offering under graduate & post graduate programmes through virtual campus. Under Section 3 of the University Act, the Punjab Technical University is authorised to institute and confer Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates & academic distinction. The nomenclature of all the programmes are as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) norms & it is a member of Association of Indian Universities. Thus the degrees and diplomas given by the Punjab Technical University stand recognized by other Universities on a reciprocal basis.
