The UVic institutional account ID number and join password are requested by Turnitin if you attempt to create a user profile without previously obtaining an account from the UVic Turnitin Administrator. You must request a Turnitin account from http://turnitinhelp.uvic.ca as we do not distribute the institutional account ID number and join password. Turnitin will not require this information once your Turnitin account has been created by the UVic Turnitin Administrator.
