What is the acceptable temperature range for storage of MMR vaccine?

0

Before reconstitution, store the vial of lyophilized MMR vaccine at 2°-8°C (36°-46°F) or colder and protect from light at all times, since such exposure may inactivate the virus. MMR vaccine is a freeze dried (lyophilized) vaccine, therefore freezing will not affect potency. The diluent can be refrigerated or stored at room temperature, 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). It should not be frozen. It is recommended that the vaccine be used as soon as possible after reconstitution.
