Currently, 800-Works is designed to always answer with the auto-attendant, which is a female voice who answers your callers with the message, “You have reached the answering service for , please say your name after the tone. Press the pound key after you’ve finished recording”. This allows your calls to be screened by requiring your callers to record their name before 800-Works forwards the call to you. When you answer the call, 800-Works will play the name of the caller and allow you to choose to accept, ignore or send the call to voicemail.
