The InterNIC charges $70 to register a new domain name. This fee covers the first two years of their domain name service. They currently bill at a rate of $70 for the first two years and $35 for each year thereafter. The InterNIC will send you an invoice via regular mail about 2 to 4 weeks after the domain is registered. But you need not wait that long to use your account; the account will be activated as soon as we set it up on our side. Usually within 24 – 48 hours.
