A.This program is designed to facilitate the installation of trees in parkways where trees do not currently exist. If a space in the parkway adjacent to your home has an available planting site (as dictated by spacing and logistical standards) the Village offers a 50/50 cost share program. A call to the department will allow us to assess your site and confirm its qualification for installation of a new tree. The Village and the resident then split the wholesale cost of the tree. The Village will then provide pick up, installation, and warrantee of the tree. Should the tree ever fail it then qualifies for the replacement program as noted above. Q.
