DISCIPLINE 4TH GRADE The following discipline guideline will be used for your child during their 4th grade year: 1 check mark– Warning 2 check marks– ½ recess (sit out by fence) 3 check marks– Detention (in det. Teacher’s room) 4 check marks– Corporal Punishment or Sat. Det. (if your child cannot receive corporal punishment, please see handbook for alt. Punishment) 5 check marks– Principal’s office/call to parents In certain instances, corporal punishment or visit to principal’s office will be administered automatically, such as: fighting, cursing, stealing, etc.
