Ft. Carson soldier arrested after shooting COLORADO SPRINGS – A Fort Carson soldier has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in a weekend shooting that left one woman dead. Police have arrested Thomas Woolly, a 24-year-old Fort Carson soldier, for manslaughter. Police say he shot and killed a 19-year-old Lisa Baumann of Colorado Springs. The El Paso County Coroner’s office completed an autopsy Monday on Baumann and determined the cause of death to be a gun shot wound and the manner of death to be homicide.
