Just like the Roman Catholic Church, how they have Jesus hung on the cross all bloody in their churches. Not to remember what he did for us, but to look and laugh at the fact that HE’s dead and gone and got that image of HIM as a reminder. It’s more so mocking Jesus than remembering HIM.
