What is temporary extended housing and who is placed in it?
Occasionally, when demand for housing exceeds availability, new students whose applications are assigned after permanent spaces are filled, are assigned to temporary expanded-capacity rooms – double rooms furnished for three students. Students in this type of housing are assigned to permanent spaces as cancellations occur and receive priority for spaces that open in their buildings.
