Tempeh is an Indonesian food that is made from cultured soybeans that are formed into a cake shape. Tempeh is somewhat similar to to Tofu except that it is made from the whole soybean and Tofu is not. It has a higher content of protein, fiber and other vitamins because it uses the whole soybean.
