What is taught at an Arkansas truck driving school?
Most accredited schools have training divided into two parts: classroom or knowledge training and driving training. Formal teaching in the classroom is done to teach students about the policies, regulations, and laws regarding commercial truck driving. The second half, driving training, will give you the actual opportunity to drive a big rig. The driving training is arguably the most important part of your training since it gives you hands-on experience before you get your CDL. During this portion, you will be taught driving skills such as how to operate the equipment, drive in certain weather conditions, and different driving techniques.
