Tapeworm is a parasite that infects your dog when the dog ingests something that is contaminated with the segments of a tapeworm from another host. It looks like rice in the stool. Other hosts could be mice, other animal’s stools that have been consumed etc. Bring a sample of stool from your dog to the vet and get it examined and if positive for tape worm a medication will be given to you to give your pet to rid him of his tape worm.. Good lawn maintainance where your dog roams would be good, to remove any suspected sources.
