A Sybase Sub-capacity License Addendum allows you to license only the virtual machine, soft partition, or resource set that your SySAM Sub-capacity enabled product is using. The SySAM Sub-capacity feature allows you to configure SySAM to recognize CPUs at the appropriate containment level using the sysamcap utility which is included with your SySAM Sub-capacity-enabled product. SySAM 2.2 is required for sub-capacity support. Refer to the “Sybase Software Asset Management Users Guide” for more information.
