What is synergy?
Synergy is the strategic alliance of the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde Established in 1998 the Synergy partnership’s objectives are: • to be preferred partners in research and establish higher levels of joint research activity; • to offer an improved range of teaching and learning opportunities; • to enhance administrative and service functions.
Synergy Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit consulting organization composed of volunteer Christian professionals and students dedicated to using their talents in strategy, operations, and information technology consulting to benefit ministries worldwide. Established in 1999, Synergy is dedicated to meaningful, well-planned change that produces lasting positive results. Through the skillful execution of carefully developed methodologies, the associates of Synergy Ministries seek to work with clients to develop strategic business and technology solutions that will benefit not only the ministry staff, but also those whom the ministries are trying to touch for Christ. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul wrote, “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge
Synergy is a nationally acclaimed learning community for first-year students that provides a challenging set of courses in a supportive environment. The Synergy program consists of four courses; three fall University courses and one spring course. The Synergy Learning Community fulfills requirements of all majors on campus, and it also serves students who have not yet declared a major. Synergy’s courses satisfy 5 University Studies requirements and include the highest demand first-year courses. Synergy’s courses satisfy the requirements for students who are admitted with conditions to the University.
