What is SXSW Music?
The South by Southwest Music & Media Conference is essentially two events in one. By day, it is an industry-oriented music and new media conference with panels, workshops, mentor sessions and a Trade Show which take place at the Austin Convention Center (500 E. Cesar Chavez Street.) By night, the SXSW Music Festival showcases about 1000 of the best up-and-coming bands and solo artists of all genres from across the United States and around the world on 50 of Austin’s best stages.
