What is sustainable energy and why is it important to me?
Sustainable energy is sources of energy which are not expected to be depleted in a time frame relevant to our lifetime, our childrens lifetime or even our grandchildrens lifetime! These energy sources also contribute to the sustainability of all life on earth; not just ours. Sustainable energy sources are most often regarded as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal power. Each one of these sources are considered to be renewable, meaning they aren’t depleted easily, unlike the fossil fuels that are the most common source of energy today.
